UHealth – the University of Miami Health System has been honored with the prestigious Magnet with Distinction(r) from the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program(r), making it the first system in Florida to receive this recognition. With this elite designation, UHealth is launched into the top 10% of U.S. hospitals in the nation, just one of 639 achieving Magnet status, and is among fewer than 1% holding Magnet with Distinction.
