MedStar Washington Hospital Center is the first in the greater Washington and Baltimore regions to use the FARAPULSE(tm) Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) System, an innovative cardiac ablation therapy to treat atrial fibrillation (AFib), the most common heart rhythm disorder in adults.
