Developing low side-effect pyroptosis and ferroptosis inducers for cancer therapy, especially dual function inducers, is a challenging task. Toward this goal, Li et al. design a multifunctional nanoplatform M@P which can induce pyroptosis and ferroptosis of tumor cells under light irradiation.
